This week we are featuring a three-lite slider window that we installed for a new customer as our featured project. Our customer’s previous kitchen window was a crank out style and was becoming hard to use, so they decided to change it to a slider window. The three-lite slider window we installed contains a quarter, half, quarter window configuration and is finished in white.
Slider windows open horizontally, with the sash sliding to the left or right. Think of it like a single hung or a double hung window, on its side. Side sliding windows increase panoramic views of the outdoors and are a perfect fit for situations with limited vertical area. There is no lifting or cranking, and no easier way to let the outside in. In addition, slider windows require fewer parts to manufacture, which can increase ease of use and result in less maintenance over time.
Slider windows come in various sizes and styles and can make a great addition to any room. The new three-lite slider contains a half size window in the middle and quarter size windows on each side. The slider window is a great addition to the kitchen because it will be much easier to use and it will allow for more natural light to enter into the kitchen. The new window will also provide a clearer and unobstructed view of the outdoor area.
