As the calendar turns, it’s the perfect time to look back at the moments that defined the last 12 months for us. 2025 wasn’t just another year of business; it was a year where we deepened our roots in the Mohawk Valley, celebrated our team, and reached new heights in the national remodeling industry.
Employee milestones:
Our company is strong because of the hardworking & dedicated team we are proud to have . This year, we celebrated several career milestones, welcomed back employees to the New York Sash family & celebrated promotions within all of our departments.
- Management Updates: We were excited to announce the promotion of Jeff Reilly to VP of Sales. After decades of service and working in various departments we are happy to have Jeff leading our Sales department to new heights.
- A Decade of Dedication: We celebrated Sean Grant, our Bath Crew Lead, on his 10-year anniversary with the company. Sean’s decade of hard work, craftsmanship, and leadership has been instrumental in our success.
- Growing Leaders: It is always rewarding to see our team step up into new roles. We were proud to promote Jace Diehl to Bath Crew Lead and Matt Zakala to Measure & Service Tech. Both have shown incredible dedication and skill, and we can’t wait to see them thrive in these leadership positions.
- Continuing Education: Design Consultant Kevin Sullivan earned his CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) certification. This achievement underscores our commitment to designing safer, more accessible homes for our customers who want to age in place comfortably.
National Recognition, Local Pride:

- Nationally Ranked: We were thrilled to have been ranked No. 290 on the Qualified Remodeler Top 500 list for 2025. Being ranked among the top remodelers in the Nation is a testament to the quality and consistency our team delivers.
- Locally Loved: Closer to home, we were voted Best Window Company in the Mohawk Valley Best of the Best awards for the third year in a row! We were also named a 2025 Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave. Winning the vote of our actual neighbors is the highest compliment we could ask for!
Team Culture & Celebrations:
Our employees are the heartbeat of New York Sash & are an extension of our family, and we believe in celebrating our hardworking team outside of the office. This year we celebrated our team by enjoying some fun staff outings.
For a summer treat, our team enjoyed an afternoon at the Utica Zoo. We enjoyed the sights & sounds of the zoo including the Dino Discovery exhibit.
This fall, the staff traded their tape measures for tee times at our annual Employee Golf Outing. It was a well-deserved afternoon of fresh air, friendly rivalry, and team bonding on the greens.
We recently enjoyed some holiday fun at our annual New York Sash Christmas party and our Sash Secret Santa gift exchange. A fun way to enjoy the holiday season and to say thank you to our employees for all of their hard work throughout the year.
In The Community:
Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are at New York Sash. This year we were happy to continue giving back to the community that we are proud to be a part of through new community initiatives.
Last November we kicked off a new giving initiative, Projects for a Purpose.
Projects for a Purpose was a seasonal giving initiative designed to connect community engagement with charitable impact. It helped generate a donation to Feed Our Vets, a local organization dedicated to providing meals and food assistance to veterans in need.
In total, the month-long campaign resulted in a $1,650 donation to Feed our Vets.
During last September’s Mohawk Valley Gives Day, New York Sash became a match donor for Notre Dame Schools. We matched all donations made during the annual day of giving up to $10,000.
We are a longtime supporter of Notre Dame Schools & are proud to provide Notre Dame with this donation.
We are proud to be a supporter of the Utica University Women’s Softball team. We look forward to working with them in the new year!
We wrapped up the year with one of our absolute favorite traditions. The 21st Annual Teddy Bear Toss with the Utica Pioneers was a night to remember, filled with electric energy and holiday spirit.
When the first goal was scored, the arena erupted as thousands of teddy bears rained down onto the ice—a breathtaking sight that represents the incredible generosity of our community.
Thanks to our partners and the fans, this year’s game raised a total of 4,519 stuffed animals that were donated to local organizations & schools, ensuring that countless children in the Mohawk Valley received a comforting gift this holiday season.

Community Events:
2025 was packed with new community events & initiatives we were proud to host and be a part of. Our way of giving back to the place we call home.
New this year was our fall Harvest Fest event.
In September we hosted our first ever Harvest Fest event, where the community was invited to come and celebrate the fall season at our Showroom.
The event featured games & activites for the family, seasonal drinks & treats courtesy of the Clinton Cider Mill and free fall family photos.
Last December our showroom transformed into a North Pole outpost for our Santa at the Showroom event.
We welcomed Santa to the New York Sash Showroom for an afternoon filled with holiday fun & cheer!
Attendees were able to take part in holiday crafts, holiday drinks & treats and free photos with Santa. The perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Along with the new events we hosted at our Showroom we also took part in various events in the community including the Home Show, What the Truck, Village Days & more! We’re excited to bring our Showroom on the road again next year, so be on the look out for us at community events again in 2026!
We had a lot of great moments in 2025 and we’re looking forward to another great year at New York Sash!
