Utica College Pioneer Men’s Hockey Coach Gary Heenan stopped by New York Sash to talk with Scot about the 20th season for Utica College Pioneers Hockey. Let’s go UC, It’s no secret that small businesses are hurting, but the Be A Neighbor Fund is here to help! We’re funding 5 small businesses up to $3,000 a month for 3 months. The application process is short and simple, any local business can apply. Or if you know a business that could use some help, nominate them! New York Sash is supporting the Rotary Club of Sauquoit Shoes For Good campaign by hosting a donation box in our showroom. Stop by and donate your old shoes!
Each year, thousands of walkers and heart survivors come together in March to raise money and awareness for one of the worlds deadliest killers: Heart Disease. Utica’s Heart run & walk weekend is a signature community event occurring the first weekend in March with local families, supporters, business & community leaders along with heart survivors participating year after year. Celebrating the 50th annual event, learn how the WBIX Heart Radiothon was started.

Featured Project: Stylish Entry Door

This week New York Sash installed a stylish Vantage Smooth Entry door in the color snow mist for a customer in Utica. This featured project is unique because of its matching sidelights installed on each side of the door. Sidelights provide that extra bit light in an entrance area that you wouldn’t normally get with just a standard door.

With our custom made Entry doors, you can stylize everything, from the glass pattern, to optional grids, to the door finish! You can truly make it yours to represent your home.

Featured Project: The Final Stage of Windows

For this weeks featured project, we installed 3 double hung windows in the bay window style for a repeat customer. They have been a repeat customer since 2018 and have 20 windows installed by New York Sash. New York Sash understands that replacing all of the windows in your home is a big project, but the good news is that it can be done in stages! This year, our repeat customer was able to have the last set of windows installed in their home.
