Herb Benn

Sales Manager

I started my career in construction but came to decide that I needed something more fulfilling. In 2000 I came to New York Sash to try my hand at sales in the familiar environment of the home improvement industry. It was different than the manual labor of construction I was used to but I enjoyed the challenge of selling and helping families solve their home improvement problems. After four years as a design consultant I was promoted to sales manager, my current position. I enjoy working at New York Sash because of the family environment.

Mike Tylee

Design Consultant

In December 2004 I came to New York Sash after spending 28 years as a plant manager at an aluminum extrusion plant. I started as a design consultant with no previous sales background. However, I enjoy meeting and talking with people and was easily able to adapt to life as a New York Sash representative. I enjoy what I do because I am able to meet a variety of people, see a lot of interesting homes and rise to the challenge of meeting people's needs. The high quality of products that New York Sash sells makes me proud to be a part of this company.

Chris Matthews

Design Consultant

I earned my bachelor's degree in geology with intention of becoming an Earth Science teacher. My desire to teach is one of the reasons why I love my job as a design consultant for New York Sash. I am able to educate homeowners to make the most informed decisions they can. I know that too many people make wrong choices when remodeling because they are not educated on the products or what to look for and are now stuck with inferior products.

Dave Lopiccolo

Design Consultant

I was born and raised in Utica, NY. In 1974 I graduated from T.R. Proctor High School. I started my career in Home Improvements in 1988. After learning all aspects of the business, from marketing and installation to sales, I quickly learned that sales was the aspect of the business that intrigued me the most. I have worked as a salesman in this industry for several different companies and I confidently settled into my position with New York Sash as a Design Consultant in 2003. After 20 years of experience selling home improvements I still get a thrill seeing the excitement on my customers faces when they watch a demonstration of a great product and then realize they can own that product. Married to my wife Laura for 15 years, together we have raised four boys. We also have two grandchildren and a Golden Retriever. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and golfing. Every day I have the privilege of going to work for New York Sash, a family business that not only takes care of their customers like family, but my family as well.
