I was born in Rome but graduated high school from Wilbraham and Monson Academy in Wilbraham, MA. From an early age I enjoyed cooking and worked in the restaurant business for most of my adolescent and young adult life. I enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at MVCC where I received my degree. After college, I opened Pumpernickel's Deli and Catering Company in the Mohawk Valley which expanded into three locations. Eventually I decided to leave the food service industry and joined New York Sash, then owned by my father. I worked in all departments and learned much about the home improvement industry before taking over as owner and CEO in 2000. I currently run New York Sash with my wife Jill. When not working, I enjoy cooking, golf and spending time with my family.

Owner and Host of CNY’s Open House

I started with New York Sash in 1995 as a part-time Marketing Assistant. Through the years, I worked full time as the company Director of Marketing and part-time as our company bookkeeper. Today, I serve as the company spokesperson and host our local television program, "CNY's Open House." I'm proud to be the face of the company alongside my husband and company owner, Scot Hayes. The best part of my job is the ability to showcase our company, people, and products in an informal way on "CNY's Open House". Viewers get to see first-hand our family of employees and the care they take in the homes they work on. I love the feedback I get from our customers and viewers! I'm also responsible for the charitable programs the company is involved in, and take great joy in giving back to the community to which we owe our success. My favorite part of working here is working with my family and friends. We truly are family owned and operated, and each and every member of our staff is part of the New York Sash family. We all work together to provide our customers the very best in home improvements. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations and create the best experience they could have in home remodeling. In my time away from the office, I enjoy swimming, cooking and spending time at our camp with Scot and our four children.
